This site is created to honor Alexandra Groenestein a.k.a. ‘Alex Who’.
Alex passed away on may 12, 2022, much too young at 32 years of age, in the prime of her life.
We, her family and her many friends, are still reeling from the shock of the loss of Alex. We think of her a hundred times a day and each time we are hit again by the realisation that she is no longer with us.
Alex was a lovely person, a kind soul for all who know her, very funny and beautiful. Also, she had a uniquely beautiful voice and a was a great and prolific songwriter. Music was her passion, she lived for music. This site is therefore not only to keep the memory of Alex alive, but also to keep her art alive. All of her released music can be found here. Also, there is a lot of unreleased music that she made and wrote, we will try to make as much as possible of this music available on this site. This may however take some time.

Nothing can soften the sorrow of the loss of Alex, but we hope this site will at least honor her memory in the way that her talent and person so deserves.
